take a seat.

photo: Mel Larson
My dining table had been in desperate need
of some fun new chairs.

Kevin had this set long before we met.
They've seen better days.

I found these treasures at a local antique fair a few weeks ago.
I spent $64 on all four of them.

Technically, I'm sure they've also seen better days,
but they are new and happy to me!

Different heights for different-sized kids. Perfect.
The old schoolhouse chairs are my favorite.

They totally brighten the room.
And now, I'm in search of a cool bench
for the other side of the table!

The fun never ends.

Wait, did you already share that table re-do and I missed it? Isn't that a new top? Now we just need a dinner invitation, ahem... :)

Love the chairs!

Heather you are my husband's hero. He's been trying to convince me of the awesomeness of different and OLD chairs at our table ever since he saw Sarah Jessica Parker's house with that look. I didn't buy it. But I trust you and now I'm buying it. He's thrilled and I think i'll be too...since we can finally take the 6 chairs we've been accumulating out of our garage :)
