And lots of action on the old Viking...
Here we have the controversial quilt- finished product!
After much hesitation, I broke down and finally did the binding myself. I did it on the machine, not perfect, but not too shabby for my first attempt.I LOVE this quilt.
This is the Bumbleride Flite, which I'll be reviewing soon on Mama Manifesto! So excited to use it!
I also had a few random projects. I wanted organic bassinet sheets, but didn't want to pay a ridiculous amount, so I made my own at $8 a yard.
Also, I inherited a really cool old vanity from my grandma, that will double as a changing table for a while. Since it's an odd size, I had to make the changing pad from scratch. I used 2" foam (bought at 50% off), covered it in PVC-free waterproof fabric, then made an organic french terry slipcover. Super cheap, easy, and the exact size I wanted!

I am 38 weeks. According to that little widget in my sidebar, I have 12 days to go.
As of today, I'm dilated 3 centimeters, 50% effaced, and he's at a -2 station.
I had my membranes stripped this morning (fun), and I'm in pretty severe discomfort right now.
So 12 days may not be so accurate...
But I think we're ready.

Organic french terry wipes.
