in the garden

{weeks three & four}

Growth since Day 14:

We have a few more little Early Girls, but no new Juliets, and still no Romas.
All the tomato plants are getting huge, and we need to get three more cages.

A baby strawberry!

The herbs are beginning to flower. We are eating them faster than we can grow them. The cilantro & chives made the best guacamole last weekend!

The zucchini is growing like crazy! No fruit yet, though.

We haven't seen much action yet from the cucumber or hot peppers.
No problem with pests, but the snails have made their way to the surrounding flower pots (making the kids very happy), so we're watching carefully.

Oh, and the cutest little thing in the garden?

Oh my gosh, Camden looks so big! YAY for your happy garden! I'm munching on {oddly-shaped} carrots from our garden with hummus as I type!

Oh wow! Thank you for showing us the new growth! The kids are having a great time watching the strawberries!

I am interested in knowing how your tomatoes grow. I am growing some for the first time this year too.
Did you buy heirloom or hybrid?

She's such a little doll!

This is how my garden looks right now too. Everything looks great, but nothing is ready to pick just yet.
