Cool idea, I have a couple that are full of shells & sea glass from different beaches we have visited I tied a little tag to each of them to remember the beach.
I saw this technique on The Shabby Chic Cottage, I think. I used it to color up some bathroom soap dispensers and it turned out great. They looked so pretty. They also have outdoor modge podge, and you can use lots of different colors to make candle holders out of all sorts of old jars---i.e. old mayo jars. I'm going to try it soon. BTW, I love your blog. It is so creative and cute!!! So are your three (+one) Cs.
