fascinating tidbits

I have eaten three entire boxes of cereal over the past 72 hours... and counting.

Yesterday, after our good friend Jonas' funeral service we went out for margaritas & appetizers. There were eight of us. The bill was $778.00. I think it goes without saying who the DD was.

I'm obsessed with cleaning my house with tea tree oil (diluted 1 tsp : 1 cup warm water).

I let Chloe stay home from school today, even though I knew her "stomach ache" was 100% related to 3rd grade girlie drama. She played all day.

Last weekend Kevin was at a party with Kenny Chesney. For reals.

The thought of having my glucose test done next week makes me want to cry. Can't I just drink a Coke instead?

Gonna be in Santa Barbara this weekend? In honor of Earth day, my Sunglasses Cozies (in nature-inspired prints) will be gifted with purchase of men's sunglasses at Nordstrom. I also have lots more to add to my shop, but we all know how that usually goes.

Chayse is on the cover of Bay Area Parent magazine this month.

I can't remember the last time I blogged about Cookies on a Monday.

Camden wants to marry Jake from the Bachelor/Dancing with the Stars.

I love this post.

You and me are Cereal Sistas. When I was pregnant I could.not.get.enough. Always late night with ice cold milk.

Now I still love it, but def not 3 boxes in 72 hours! =)

And I love that you let Chloe stay home cause of girlie drama. I'm sure it's exactly what she needed. XO

I can't get past Kevin and Kenny Chesney... WHY is this the first I've heard of that???

The Chayse face is a CLASSIC. :)

Sounds like you could use some girl time. Glad that's happening soon. Miss you.

I hated the Glucose test too...the syrupy orange liquid...barf!! One very good reason why I don't plan on having more kids!! :)

i LOVE cereal when i'm pregnant. and it is the ONLY time that i ever have milk.

i bet Jonas loved seeing that awesome celebration from above.

i let my chloe stay home yesterday because of a "sore throat" that was really "i wanna hang out with mom" day, i think.

cute pic of chayse! =)

I eat cereal w/almond milk by the truck loads! LOVE it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, late night snack ;)

Chayse looks so handsome! Camden's comment is adorable. And I think I would have had a heart attack w/a bill like that!

Boo for third grade girl drama! Give Chloe a hug for me!!

Also, what kind of cereal?

Hey Heather, just found your blog and it's so cute!! You have a beautiful family! I had a question about the skirts that your girls are wearing in the picture on your header, on the far left. Did you make those, they are adorable!!

are you killing lice in your home???

and happy to hear I am not the only one dealing with 3rd grade girlie troubles. In fact, Belle is in bed right now reading the American Girl book I just got her about standing up for yourself and dealing with bullies...

big sigh...so now the parenting really begins...

Wasn't a big fan of the glucose test either, but that being said, it did improve just a wee bit in the five year span from my first to my second. ;)

Totally impressed with the cereal intake but I must know - what kind of cereal?

I'm so so glad to read that at least one other person hates the glucose test as much as I do. If one more person tells me "it isn't that bad!", I might just cry. Seriously, worse than labor. It is the one thing I dread with pregnancy! Here's to modern science figuring out a way to do it with a coke!!

PS. i did cry at my glucose test. After it was all over, i sat in the waiting room crying on daniels shoulder and repeating that I did it. Its over. AND i didnt throw up... accomplishment? I think so!

LOVE tera tree oil as well!! And did you know that spiders don't like it??? Only a positive in my book haha!! :)

And what a fab momma letting your little one stay home... I think that is important every once in a while, don't you think?? :) I let my kindergarten son sleep in last week, and he went to school in a much happier mood. Yay! :)
