keepin' it real. (or TMI)

Well folks, upon review of the So Cal photos, I think it's time to take some action.
This pregnancy will not take me down.

May I direct your attention to exhibit C (ellulite), below:

First off, let me say I wouldn't normally be caught in booty shorts at Disneyland.
When packing, I threw these non-maternity-but-stretchy-in-the-waist shorts in my bag JUST IN CASE.
It was 80 degrees.

And now, exhibit D (imple-free),
same thigh, this time last year:

In 2005 I went through a pilates phase.
This is my favorite workout video:

(If Kevin is reading this, he just fell off the chair laughing at the thought of me having a favorite workout anything.)

I was just going to completely crop my thigh out of that Monorail shot, but instead, this is my attempt at actually holding myself accountable for staying "in shape" this pregnancy.

Today I will find the time to dust off Denise.

And start cutting out sugar.
When Girl Scout cookie season is over... Soon.

This is a shameless plug for a family member of mine...but she made a workout video (pilates and yoga) just for ladies who are pregnant. It has workouts for the during and post pregnancy body...called Smart Moves Mama. Don't know much about it other than she was 8.5 months pregnant when she filmed...

hey there skinny pants!
if I had those shorts on people would have been running away, fast!
you look so great and your are HALFWAY through! go girl!
enjoy growing that baby. Cellulite helps with that in so many ways. That's why God gave it to us and not men! Good luck with the final half of the pregnancy!!! Don't you get to find out soon if it's a Girl C or Boy C?

I've had dimples for as long as I can remember regardless of how skinny I am. Now, if only the were cute/good kind of dimples.

I used to do Denise Austin all the time, but her voice got on my last nerve.

1. The fact that you made it into your twenties without cellulite is enough to have you thrown in jail.
2. The fact that you do not retain cellulite after having babies is enough for you to be on Dr. Phil or The Doctors to discuss the obvious genetic disorder you have.
3. A women who has a website called COOKIE MONDAYS and does not consistently have cellulite is a bowl full of contradictions, a defier of the natural laws of the Universe, and a . . . crazy.

Something is very, very wrong with you. I don't care how much Pilates you do. But I am still secure enough to be your friend. And eat cookies with you.

First off, cellulite is not something that you can totally control. (At least that's what I tell myself.) Second, if you find a good pilates workout for pregos let me know! Last pregnancy I was not "allowed" to do abs on my back.

I'd totally still do you. ;)

You are what one would call a beautiful, healthy pregnant woman! I vowed to excercise when I was preggers with Ben and I ended up on bedrest and putting on 60 lbs. instead of the recommended 25. Oh, well he was a big baby and after toting him around I've lost everything and then some! You are beauitful, cherish it!

I have thighs like that even at my thinnest- Of course, I happen to be about 8 lbs heavier right now, which is completely in my hips and thighs! And I am totally not as brave as you, because I am way too chicken to not crop it out of my pictures :) xo
