Last week we packed up the troops for our annual camping trip to Pinecrest. The weather was totally unpredictable, but we had a blast making do as each day was a little different. The best part about camping is escaping from toys and television for a week of quality family fun, may it be cozying up in the tent during a rainstorm, or soaking up the sun at the lake. The S'mores aren't bad either. Now for the mountain of dirty, smoky laundry...

Looks like everyone had a great time! I really wanted to go this year but James wasn't able to get the time off work. There's always next year :)

Love the pic of Camden on Thursday, so focused on cleaning whatever that thing is. And her hamming it up alongside the lake on Saturday...too cute. She must keep you guys laughing all day, every day. What a fun getaway!

Fun! Every time I've ever been camping in Pinecrest there were crazy thunderstorms! One year (maybe the first year I went, actually....and this was with my boyfriend's {now husband's} family, so I had to play it cool) two trees in our campsite caught on fire. I was so scared! Glad you guys had fun! Great pictures!!
