Our city puts on free family movie nights in the park every other week during the summer. They use a huge inflatable screen, big speakers, and have an old-fashioned popcorn machine ready to serve lots of eager kids.Our kids love any opportunity to bring their sleeping bags and get cozy somewhere.

This week's feature was The Wizard of Oz; one of my favorite movies as a kid (and Kevin's least favorite... he's terrified of the wicked witch).
It's funny to watch childhood movies as an adult and notice things that went right over your head when you were little!

There's no place like home.
{Especially by 11 pm with 3 kids still awake at the
freezing, damp park!}

Our neighborhood does this too-- I can't wait until Mason is old enough to enjoy it! Actually, I probably CAN wait. I'm sure it will be here before I know it. :(
so fun!! We have that also, but the movies don't start until 8:15 (and both girls are in bed by then) Maybe we will try it next summer (and, all the movies they have this year are lame!)
I love the Wizard of Oz! The whole night looks like good fun.
That is so cute! We would love to join sometime.
FUN! I went to dinner at Stacey's with some friends on Thursday and saw that and was tempted to skip dinner and watch "The Wizard of Oz" : )
