Up half the night with a feverish, ear-infected kid...
a two-day devotion to home remedies and extra cuddles...
and a struggle in co-parenting is the appreciation I get.
Step-parenting can be exhausting...
which doesn't have much to do with the kids.
I'm tired. Soooo tired.

I can't tell you how lucky Chayse is to have you as a "Mommy". You have taken such good care of him and please do not let the tug of war get you down. You are a phenominal mom and sister in law.
I jsut found your blog through 30days. I love it. And I can relate to this post. Being a step mom is the HARDEST thing I have ever had to do in my life. Im tired just thinking about it. Good luck
