"She Did What She Could
when she could... And you can be sure that wherever in the whole world that the Message is preached, what she just did is going to be talked about admiringly." Mark 14:8-9
Today our MOPS speaker, Debbie (a "mentor mom"), discussed the importance of not wasting our time as moms, waiting. Waiting for the next mess... the next meal... the next bill... the next diaper... the next tantrum... Among the hustle & bustle of the holiday season, it's so easy to get wrapped up in the minor details; so easy to get lost waiting- waiting in line at Target... waiting to see Santa...; SO EASY to forget to find the positive in daily details. We, as moms, can only do so much. If we're wasting these moments waiting for the next thing, life becomes just that: a waste. We need to remember to savor each moment in each stage of our kids' lives; to make this season a time of magic, love, and family traditions (not stress!). After all, this is what will be remembered.

Life is not a competition.

Make the best of what you've got.

Do what works for you- what makes you happy.

Do what you can.
